Cameron Diaz may soon tie the knot with boyfriend of seven months Benjie Madden.

Sources of Us Weekly can confirm that the actress has already been engaged to Good Charlotte rocker Benjie Madden.

"Everyone thinks it's wild but are so happy for them," an anonymous source said.

The two were first seen in public as a couple last May.

"Benji always tends to fall in love easily, but this time it's for real and he landed a great girl. They obviously both make each other incredibly happy and there's nothing better than that," the source continued.

The 42-year-old Charlie's Angels star previously has a high-profile relationship with Justin Timberlake and Alex Rodriguez.

The 35-year-old crooner popped the marriage proposal seven months after being a happy couple.

A close friend of the couple also told Us last September, that Madden really wanted to make their relationship work, so he was really doing his best to keep things right between the two of them.

"He is more traditional than her," the pal revealed.

"She really doesn't care about getting married but wants babies. He wants to get engaged and married first."

Nicole Richie, Benjie's sister-in-law (Joel Madden's wife) and Diaz's close friend, was really excited about the two getting married.

"I approve of anything that's going to make Benji happy," the TV celebrity mom-of-two said in an interview with Andy Cohen in July.

Richie even claimed responsibility for setting up the two.

Asked if she was the two's match maker, without hesitation, she said: "Yes!"

"I'm going to take responsibility for everything!"

Meanwhile, Diaz's mom, who is a huge fan of Benjie, is definitely very happy right now on the prospect of her daughter's wedding.

"Billie has been gushing about Cameron's new relationship," a source revealed with Us

"She absolutely loves Benji and she hopes this is the man her daughter will finally settle down with."

Speaking of her relationship, Diaz said that time is the essence.

"If you get into a relationship where you want something the guy doesn't want, it's never gonna work," she said in an interview with Cosmopolitan.

"No matter how old you are, finding the guy who's in the same place as you are and wants to show up is the only way a relationship works, period," she continued.
