"I could not decorate by myself, so I ask grass-cutting workers to help me. Santa Claus, reindeer, Christmas tree, colorful light lines...I have them all. Holidays should be festive."Says Liu.

Liu introduces that Walnut senior centers has many social groups including painting, singing, Taichi, dancing groups. She studies Taichi and the members in her class hold Christmas party together every year. Liu also joins many holiday activities such as the Christmas dinner held by senior center on the 16th.

Mr. He, 70, from Zhejiang has been living in the U.S. for more than 40 years. "I went to American friends'home to celebrate Christmas when I was a student. I decorated Christmas tree by myself after I married. I hanged the gifts for kids on the tree. Now, son and daughter move out. I then never decorate Christmas tree again. But Walnut senior center holds many kinds of Christmas activities each year. Elders like us can still have fun during holidays. I feel happy and satisfied."He says.
