San Antonio's Tim Duncan is out to avenge their loss to the Heats in last year's championship as he finishes the half with 15 points giving them a 54-49 lead; while Miami's James leads his team with 13 points.

Lebron took the lead away as he makes a 3-point shot at the corner making it 62-60 at the 3rd quarter of play. With only a minute left, James makes another 2 pointer putting them up by 6.

Center Tiago Splitter took over Duncan's shoes as he makes back-to-back layups ending the 3rd quarter at 78-74.

Splitter continues to dominate the Spurs in the 4th quarter as he cuts Heat's lead to 80-79 but Bosh quickly turned it around as he took over Miami making a 4-point play putting them ahead by 7, 86-79, scoring 6 consecutive points with 9:23 left.

Danny Green fires up the San Antonio crowd as he scores back-to-back 3 pointers taking the lead from Miami at 90-88.

James, obviously limping, drives straight to the hoop and scores but injures himself as he goes down cramping up. Lebron goes out of the game as Spurs still leads the game 94-92.

San Antonio took advantage while James sits on the bench nursing his injury, scoring 2 3-point baskets from Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker giving them a 10 point lead at 105-95 with only 1:14 left in the game.

James starts walking to the dugout as Miami couldn't retaliate ending the game at 110-95, Spurs takes game 1 of their best of 7 series.

Tim Duncan finishes the game with 21 points and point-guard Tony Parker added 19 points to lead the Spurs in their victory.
