Rich, Pretty Chinese Girls Wanted in Canada for Reality TV Show

A Chinese-Canadian television producer is coming up with a reality TV show dubbed as "HBICtv: Ultra Rich Asian Girls," and searching for ultra-rich Asian, preferably Chinese girls. who are ready to brandish their affluence and smear their bosom buddies on the TV show.

Kevin Li , the 36 year old Chinese-Canadian TV producer released a demo video of three Mandarin speaking women flaunting their fancy Lamborghinis,  attending fashion shows, touching up their make-up and disparaging their fashion choices and plastic surgery.

A freelance cameraman for local TV networks, Li. who also runs a video production company was inspired by the changing demographic change in the city with the influx of wealthy immigrants from Mainland China setting roots in the west coast city in Canada.

From Vancouver, Li disclosed, "There aren't many positive Asian representations in the media and with this show, I will have a chance to put a different perspective."
Li hopes "HBICtv: Ultra Rich Asian Girls," will be  a mash-up of the popular "Rich Kids of Beverly Hills" and the "Kardashians".  Fashionistas can expect a lot of expensive signature handbags and belligerent name-calling while enduring in bottle service.

Thick and fast, Chinese arrive in the country by virtue of the controversial investor-immigration scheme that was suspended earlier this year since the influx of the wealthy Chinese visa recipients didn't contribute enough to the Canadian economy.
Instead, the rich Chinese are oftentimes blamed for the surging real estate prices,  pushing  the city to be the most expensive in the country.

If Li's show pushes through, it won't directly address the issues but it will instead focus more on the preferences of his subject and not the deplorable blunder of carrying a Michael Kors bag to the front row of a fashion show.

Li said, the women in the demo reel could be considered as main characters for the show. But he keeps his options open and hopes to cast a wider network.

He hopes to focus on Mandarin speaking Chinese women for the show and feature both Chinese and English as he  intends to sell it to Canada and China.

"Let's see how crazy and rich they really can be," Li said. "These women are everywhere in Vancouver now. Many don't want to flaunt it on camera, but some definitely will."
