The people he had worked with know him as someone who moves fast in developing and handling production matters because of the many years of experience he has gained in the industry.

The Executive Vice President of Lighthearted Rob LaPlante said that Schultz achievement was not just on television, but also on the manner of how he has touched other people's lives especially the ones he had worked with along the way. He is saddened by the lost of his colleague saying that the industry didn't just lose a visionary mind but actually a mentor in life.

The company will be under the supervision of LaPlante along with another Lighthearted VP, Jeff Spangler, who are partners with the late prolific producer.

The president of Warner Brothers TV Mike Darnell, recognized Schultz as a fearless producer. He was able to work with him on and off for several years during Darnell's tenure at Fox.

Darnell continued saying that it doesn't matter how crazy a concept was, Schultz will pursue it in full force and would work on it without holding any regret. He sent his deepest sympathies to the family of Schultz who are currently grieving of his death.
