Chris Rock Could Lose Custody Of His Kids; Divorce Getting Messed Up

Comedian Chris Rock is bound to lose custody of his two daughters.

The ex-couple's divorce proceeding has just gotten nastier and messier as it was revealed that his estranged wife, Malaak Compton Rock has sought sole custody of their two girls, New York Post can reveal.

It was earlier revealed that Chris Rock is seeking joint custody with Malaak after the latter alleged that his wife prevents him from seeing their daughters, 12-year-old Loren and 10-year-old Zahra.

TMZ found court documents revealing Rock's statement that Malaak was not giving him regular access of here two girls, thus, he sought the petition for joint custody.

A source close to Chris told New York Post that the comedian definitely loves her daughters.

''He lives for his children. They come first. When he was doing a publicity tour for 'Top Five', he made it clear it had to be scheduled around being able to take his daughters to school and pick them up,'' the source revealed.

It was also rumored that Chris is in a relationship with his Top Five co-star and longtime pal Rosario Dawson but reps for Chris strongly denied the allegations as "100 percent untrue."

The divorce stemmed from the fact that the comedian was no longer "happy in the marriage."

While no third party was ever involved in the separation, there were already "problems for some time." In fact, "Chris and his wife had previously separated and got back together," reps said.

The source went on to say that Chris' camp were somewhat dismayed by Malaak's statement when he mentioned her active participation in charitable activities when he confirmed the divorce.... Indeed, what's the connection?

The divorce proceeding's battleground would be the prenuptial agreement that the couple had signed before they tied the knot in 1996 and is believed to have expired already.

As early as November, the former couple has been sorting out their properties for equal division.
