"Is it bad if I say no?" she asked during an equality interview with Redbook's February 2015 issue.

The actress, who has recently undergone surgery on her sinus, explained that feminism is not really something that she'd be interested about.

"Things are different now, and I know a lot of the work that paved the way for women happened before I was around ... I was never that feminist girl demanding equality, but maybe that's because I've never really faced inequality," she said.

She also discussed the set up in her home and how does she and her husband, Ryan Sweeting, tackle gender roles.

Cuoco revealed that she does the cooking "five nights a week" because that makes her feel that she's really a housewife.

"I love that," she said.

"I know it sounds old-fashioned, but I like the idea of women taking care of their men," explaining that coming home and serving her husband make her "in control" of her work.

She also likened herself to her mom, who does the same thing.

"So I think it kind of rubbed off," she said.

Sweeting and Cuoco surprised Hollywood when they tied the knot on New Year's Eve last year following a whirlwind courtship.

29-year-old Cuoco is currently one of TV's highest-paid stars after she secured a three-year contract with CBS that pays her $1 million for every episode of Big Bang Theory's seasons 8 to 10.

"All I think about is what it means for my family ... and knowing there is security for all of us," she said in the interview.

She also added that she used to hope that she could look after her parents "because they took such good care of me."

"Knowing I'll be able to just brings tears to my eyes," she said, given that she now earns a multi-million dollar paycheck a year.
