Kanye West's new song is out and this time it is a different style since it is rare collaboration with Paul McCartney. The song was released on New Year's Day and it holds a special meaning to his family.

The song, titled "Only One" is also co-created by West's late mother, Donda West. The song was initially developed in early 2014 in small bungalow house in Los Angeles.

West expressed that he had a "moving experience" while he and McCartney were brainstorming for the song. The final product of the song released, is the first song off his upcoming solo album.

It will available exclusively on iTunes for next week.

The Grammy winning rapper took his daughter North on his lap and started singing, "Hello, my only one. . ."

A song was finally in the works. West reminisces the time in which is mother sang to him when he was little and he felt like his mother also sang the lullaby through his daughter.

He further elucidated to people present in the recording room that he was named Kanye by his mother. The name simply means, "Only one"

West posted the lyrics and the song on his official website on Thursday. His wife, reality show star and model Kim Kardashian also posted a photo in Instagram of a father and daughter tandem, promoting the song as well.

The caption says, "Everyone asks me what my favorite Kanye song is. It's Only One. Kanye felt like his mom was singing to him through his daughter. This song makes me cry every time I hear it."
