According to a friend of former Miss Hong Kong Tracy Ip, she wants to marry for love and not for money. The source further confirmed by saying, "She told me she wants to find someone who cares about her so she can spend the rest of her life with him. Whether the man is wealthy or not, it doesn't matter."

Miss Ip is currently dating Raymond Zhou, a VP of an architecture firm. She is indeed ready to settle down because she believes she has finally found love. Though they have been dating for less than a year, Ip expresses her desire to finally settle down.

In the past, Ip has been branded as a "gold digger" in tabloids. This can be partially attributed to her 2008 relationship with Huang You Long, a rich businessman.

A friend has revealed that the businessman gave Ip two properties worth $30 million HKD. With the appreciation of real estate properties, she doesn't have to work yet she can live comfortably.

The friend further elucidated by saying, "She has also sold her home in LOHAS Park and gained a lot from her financial investments. She earned more than $50 million HKD and she said she didn't want to rely on men anymore."

Reports that Ip dated Raymond Zhou came as a surprise for everyone since this VP has a more modest background as compared to the high profile Huang You Long.

Apparently, she chose Raymond because he stayed by her side when Ip suffered from depression when her mother passed away last year. It was a very difficult time for the beauty queen but Raymond was there to provide comfort during this rough period.

Even Ip's father, a very strict and rigid man saw Raymond's efforts and eventually warmed up to him.

In an interview, Ip gushed about Raymond and said, "To be honest, I've thought about marrying him- he has changed me and I think he's really great. I hope to spend more time with him in the future."
