Idaho Multiple Shootings Kill 3, Including Gunman’s Mom

A 29-year-old man went on a shooting spree in three different locations in Moscow, Idaho, killing officials of a fast food chain, his adoptive mother and a fast food manager, and wounding one Seattle resident on Saturday.

The gunman, John Lee, is now in police custody.

He first went to 400 block of Veatch Street where he gunned at her residence 61-year-old Terri Grzebielski, a physician's assistant at Moscow Family Medicine. She is his adoptive mother.

Lee then went to 303 E 3rd Street at Northwest Mutual where he shot 76-year-old businessman David Trail and Seattle resident 39-year-old Michael Chin. Police got a call at 2:30 p.m. and responded. They rushed Trail to the Pullman Regional Hospital and Chin to the Grilman Medical Center, but Trail was declared dead while Chin is in critical condition

He then drove to Arby's at 150 Peterson and asked for the manager, 47-year-old Belinda Niebhur. When she came out, Lee fired his gun. Niebhur was also rushed to Grilman but was declared dead.

An employee of a café near Arby's, Kelsy Stemrich, said she heard three gunshots and saw people scrambling away from the restaurant. She took the plate number of the black Honda that drove fast away from Arby's and reported it to the police, The Blaze reports.

With the information from Stemrich, police spotted the car and stopped the driver, but Lee went past the cops and several times exceeded the state speed limit of 100 miles per hour. He eventually stopped at milepost 47 on Highway 195 at 3:20 p.m. and was arrested by Pullman officers. Lee is booked at the Whitman County Jail.

Moscow City, Letah County, Idaho State Police and Washington are investigating the shooting incidents.
