Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee questioned United States President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama's parenting methods, slamming them for letting their daughters listen to Beyonce's songs.

Huckabee, a possible candidate for the 2016 presidential elections from the Republicans, criticized the president for allowing his daughter Malia and Sasha listen to Beyonce's song's and watch her dance moves.

He already once criticized Jay Z and Beyonce in a book he has recently published entitled "Gods, Guns, Grits and Gravy," calling out their steamy performance during the 2014 Grammy Awards show. He even called Jay Z a pimp for making his wife a "sex object."

Huckabee, who recently quits his show Fox News show to prepare up for the 2016 presidential race, commented on the conflicting parenting methods of the Obamas. He said he does not understand how the president and the first lady are so careful about their family's food intake and schooling but could be so careless in the kind of music their kids are exposed to.

He adds that the Obamas make sure Sasha and Malia are sheltered or shielded but they do not see that the lyrical content and the choreography of Beyonce are not suitable for them.

In 2012, during a US$40,000 per ticket fundraiser held in New York, the president thanked Beyonce and Jay Z for the friendship and praised that Beyonce for being a good role model for his daughters. Beyonce also sang during the president's second inauguration and the first lady's 50th birthday party held at the White House.

The Obamas and the Carters still have not commented on Huckabee's criticisms. The latter is reportedly using cultural and social issues as foundations of his presidential campaign.
