The investigation into the New England Patriots on the "Deflate-gate" scandal that occurred during the AFC Championship game. In an effort to get to the bottom of the situation, the National Football League (NFL) will be focusing on locker room attendants.

It has been weeks since the Patriots beat the Indianapolis Colts with a blowout win during the AFC Championships. However, that was also the day wherein the NFL found that 11 out of 12 footballs the Patriots were using were underinflated.

As the NFL investigated the matter, they found that Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady knew nothing on the matter.

Part of their investigation also followed the movements of the ball as per the regulations of the NFL; from inspections in the locker room, to out on the field, it showed that deflating footballs in the small windows given would not be an easy feat.

With all the hubbub, the NFL is determined to finding out how the footballs got deflated in the first place.

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reported last Monday that the NFL's investigation is focused on the Patriots locker room attendant who allegedly took the game balls from the officials' locker room to "another area" in the stadium as he was on the way to the field.

Glazer reminds though that it is not yet sure whether or not the attendant really did do it, but after interviewing him, he has become a "strong person of interest."

In addition, there is actually compelling video evidence on the matter that has put alert signals on this locker room attendant. It is unclear whether the video in question was taken from the Patriots' security cameras at Gillette Stadium or from an outside source.

Outside attorney Ted Wells released a statement on Monday afternoon saying he expects the NFL to take several more weeks into the matter.
