(Photo : REUTERS/Fred Prouser) Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston, reveals a tattoo with the initials "W H" as she waves while arriving with boyfriend Nick Gordon at the premiere of the new film "Sparkle" starring Jordin Sparks and the late Whitney Houston in Hollywood August 16, 2012.

"Like mother, like daughter" is the speculation after Bobbi Kristina Brown was found on Saturday morning by her husband Nick Gordon in a bathtub filled with water and unresponsive.

The incident has an uncanny and eerie similarity to the death of Brown's mother, singer Whitney Houston, who died in almost the same setting on February 11, 2012.

The 21-year-old Brown was not breathing when her husband and a friend found her at her townhouse in Roswell, Georgia. The friend called 911, while Gordon tried to revive Brown by performing CPR until first responders came and rushed her to North Fulton Hospital, reports CNN.

Atlanta Police spokeswoman Lisa Holland said Brown is alive and breathing, but in a medically induced coma. Investigators doused speculation that the incident could be due to drugs or alcohol and debunked those theories.

However, the cops are looking at reports that someone reported to the police that a fight broke out in Brown's unit on January 23. When they came to check, there was no evidence of an altercation.

In January 2014, Brown married Gordon, who appeared with her in another reality show about Houston's death. Gordon used to live with them since she was 12.

Houston was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton a few hours before she was to attend a pre-Grammy party at the same hotel.

An autopsy on the singer concluded she died from accidental drowning in 12 inches of extremely hot water, but with the "effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use." She had struggled for years with cocaine, marijuana and pills, resulting in erratic behavior, reports Washington Post.

Brown, born in 1993, was Houston's only daughter from a failed marriage with R&B singer Bobby Brown. The two divorced in 2007.

The mother and daughter appeared together in a reality show in the mid-2000s and performed in ABC's Good Morning America in 2009.
