The owner revealed that this is not the first time that such an incident has happened, as Chinese tourists are known to use toilet and pubic restrooms inappropriately. However, the February 2 incident was the last straw for the White Temple.

The management of the tourist spot also said had they asked the woman to remove the used toilet paper and clean the area but the she refused to comply.

According to reports, Mr. Chalermchai lifted the ban after half a day of implementing it as there were other Chinese tourists who arrived in the area and lined up to see the tourist spot but were disappointed when they heard about the order of the owner. Chalermchai said he felt sorry for the tourists so he lifted the ban on conditions that tour guides should clean the toilet in case the tourists behaved inappropriately.

The temple created by Chalermchai has been open since 1996 and is open daily for tourists. The tour is free of charge.
