Madonna is sure having a hard time promoting her new and upcoming album "Rebel Heart", which is due to be released on March 6. Not only are her new tracks being leaked but they are apparently also being banned!

Last week, the Daily Mail reported that BBC Radio 1 has banned the Queen of Pop's newest track "Living for Love" because the 56-year old singer is too old for the station's audience. According to the Daily Mail, the track was already available for airplay since December 20 but the station only played it once and during an evening broadcast, which is the time when non-playlist tunes can be played.

Some tracks are not played often simply because they aren't good, and while Madonna has not released any good music for a few years, "Living for Love" is a track that is worth listening to. A lot of people argue over how the singer does not act her age, but some think that it's not enough reason to ditch her music and not give listeners a chance to decide for themselves.

The moment word got out that the radio station banned Madonna's music because of her age, other musicians took to Twitter, not only to defend Madonna but also to express their views on the matter.

Boy George tweeted, "We need to show @BBCR1 how irrelevant it is to a rapidly ageing nation, world!" while Garbage wrote, "In all seriousness, Radio 1's policy of discrimination against age is bordering on, if not actively, unlawful. Beware intolerance. It spreads."

Diplo also posted a photo of himself holding up an album of Madonna's Rebel Heart and captioned the photo, "Tell @BBCR1 that age and nothing but a # and support @NICKIMINAJ @Madonna"

Aside from celebrities, fans are tweeting and flocking to Radio 1's official Facebook page to show their support for Madonna and insist that they play not only her song, but also her record.
