Japanese toymaker Bandai has revealed an iPhone case in the shape of Doc Brown's DeLorean DMC-12 time machine featured in Back to the Future II released in 1989. The DeLorean case goes on sale this June for some $50.

In BTTF II, Marty and Doc travel into the future to Oct. 21, 2015 to save Marty's son from being jailed but Biff turns that future upside down by changing the past. This DoLorean in the movie, by the way, is powered by trash.

Bandai's DeLorean iPhone case has blue neon lights. The headlights blink with your ringtone. The car's headlights flash when the user receives a call. To talk, a user speaks into undercarriage of the DeLorean.

That's because the Bandai case completely encases an iPhone. The car's front bumper and rear tubing are lit-up by blue LED lights.

To use the iPhone's camera, you've got to slide open the front fender and wheel on the driver's side. Sliding open the fender on the other side gives you access to the iPhone's controls.

The DeLorean case is one of Bandai's Crazy Case series of smartphone cases. But fans that can't wait can pre-order the iPhone case at p-bandai.jp.
