At Tuesday's Watermark Silicon Valley Conference for Women, former State Secretary Hillary Clinton joked that she is overweight and a hoarder.

"You can tell I'm not doing Fitbit," Refinery 29 quotes Clinton. She added, "I don't throw anything away. I'm like two steps short of a hoarder."

However, some media accused the former first lady of showing her human side to ingratiate herself to female voters by emphasizing her similarities to other women.

For instance, Daily Mail wrote, "The former first lady again attempted to empathize with conference goers, and showcase her won struggles with everyday issues, while talking about her weight."

The daily also noticed that she highlighted her female roles of mother and grandmother.

Refinery 29 points out that this is not the first time that Clinton has been accused of playing to the emotions of women voters. It cited a 2008 comment by journalist Maureen Dowd that Clinton tears get a lot of publicity when she is forced to defend herself to media, which is a reminder to Americans that she actually has emotions.

The website stresses that like any politician, Clinton would "do what they can to endear themselves to constituents," and emphasizes that 95 percent of her keynote speech was on other matters, including running for the presidency.

She still has not made a final decision, but in a reply to a question on announcing her candidacy, Clinton said she is still talking to a lot of people and mulling it through.

Meanwhile, Huffington Post wrote that the Hillary of 2008 is the same highly qualified woman today and American voters are ready to bring to the Oval Office a woman with qualifications like Clinton.

For Huffington, Clinton is "the best-prepared candidate, man or woman, to be our next president."
