Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday said the United States' nuclear deal with Iran could threaten the existence of his country.

Netanyahu addressed the U.S. Congress on Tuesday with the Iran nuclear project as the center of his speech. He spoke before The American Israel Public Affairs Committee upon arrival, claiming that Iran continues to pose danger to Israel and even accused the country of being the forefront sponsor for terrorism in different countries all over the world.

In his speech, he showed a map where Iran is connected to different terror groups and he claims that once Iran gets their hands on a nuclear weapon, Israel will be destroyed. He also appealed to no one in particular to not let such incident happen.

The Obama administration does not want the same thing to happen but Netanyahu points out that the talks between Obama and Iranian officials might not lead to an effective deal. Obama said earlier this year that Netanyahu's speech could affect the progress done by his administration in an effort to convince Iran not to use their nuclear project for dangerous things.

Netanyahu was invited by Republican House Speaker John Boehner and this has caused tension not only in the U.S. government but also in Israel as Netanyahu's people feel he should not continue with his speech. They believe it would just further strain the relationship between the two countries.

The relationship of Netanyahu and Obama already reached an all-time low according to critics and his visit is seen as a political football. However, Netanyahu stressed on Monday that the alliance between his country and the U.S. remains strong.

He also pointed out that he will not make his speech before the Congress to insult or offend Obama but he is in the U.S. because of his moral obligation to speak about the danger that his country faces as it is a matter of survival for him and his people.
