Madonna has some good advice for fellow musician Kanye West!

Kanye has been bashed everywhere from entertainment websites and social media platforms to late-night shows and high-profile news outlets, however, Madonna speaks up about what she thinks of Kanye's often rebellious behavior and reveals that it's what she admires in him-to a certain point.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the 56-year old singer praised the rapper's candidness but remarked that he does not always use it to his own advantage.

Regarding Kanye's latest stunt at this year's Grammy's, in which he caused quite a stir by walking up the stage while Beck was preparing for his acceptance speech and then telling the Grammy-award winner to give his award Beyoncé afterwards, Madonna has some advice to say.

She advised Kanye to not "go to awards shows looking for justice." She then compared it to looking for a needle in a haystack and said, "just go and have fun."

She explained that she's never got extremely engaged with who wins the awards or not because she thinks it's not that important.

Kanye, who collaborated with Madonna on a few tracks for her upcoming album, however, disagrees and he has made what he feels about the Grammys and other awards shows very clear when he sat down for various interviews over the past weeks. Madonna revealed that, that is a part of Kanye that she cannot relate to. She questioned the need to fight for somebody to win a particular award, adding that Kim Kardashian's husband sometimes, "takes things too seriously."

But with the amount of intensity he has, Madonna said that it can be an advantage to certain situations. Finding it difficult to describe Kanye in just one sentence, she finally managed to say that "he's a brilliant madman."

The Queen of Pop said that although Kanye has the need to blurt things out, whether they are inappropriate or not, she acknowledged that he also has incredible and brilliant ideas, if one can get the rapper to "pay attention long enough."

And while Madonna stressed the "if," it's important to also take note that the payoff was extremely worth it. She shared that Kanye comes and goes and drives her crazy, because of the many things he is currently dealing with in his life, but when he did pay attention, "it was brilliant."

Madonna told Rolling Stone she feels like "the music business needs him, because everyone's become so politically correct, so safe." Adding that while she does not always like his music or always agree with the things he says and does, "he is a beautiful mess. I love him."
