'The Hills' Star Justin Bobby Brescia Shares His Life During His Stay In The Show And After The Series Concluded

Justin Bobby Brescia, who had a brief stint as Audrina Patridge's love interest in the MTV reality show, 'The Hills', shares his life during his stint in the MTV series and after the reality show went off air, according to Us magazine.

Justin Bobby was more friendly and animated than he was perceived in the MTV series and he sat down with the Us weekly editor Rachel McRady in a coffee shop in New York city for a brief chat.

Justin Bobby, a hairdresser by profession, is far from his 'Hills' character, who broke Audrina Patridge's heart all over again from 2007 to 2010.

The 32 year old hairdresser shares that he got cast in the reality show by chance, since he worked as a professional hairdresser and stylist for Maroon 5 and Madonna's music videos.

While on duty at the Los Angeles Quixote Studios, he met the cute and bubbly Patridge working as a receptionist. They would eventually date briefly.

The 29 year old reality actress invited Justin Bobby into her apartment for a haircut appointment with MTV cameras watching.

"I went and did my first cut and they filmed it, but it didn't go in the storyline. Why is this dude just showing up and cutting hair? But we had a good time," says Justin Bobby, reminiscing the experience of being accidentally cast in the hit MTV series.

A few weeks later, The Hills producers offered Justin Bobby a hefty salary three times higher than the money he made from cutting hair and the rest is history.

"It wasn't for me. It was hard for me to get me to shoot after a while because of the repetition and there wasn't anything artistically happening and I wasn't growing," says Justin Bobby, also affirming some of the co-stars revelations of the reality show being too scripted.

However, Justin Bobby swears by heart that his chemistry with Audrina Patridge was real. Though, nowadays they don't keep in touch.

"There was a genuine loving friendship between me and Audrina. She's such a sweetheart and I picked that up from the very beginning. I was always a friend to her from the get-go and there for her as a friend," says Justin Bobby.

Patridge's career after 'The Hills' earned her a hosting stint in NBC's 1stLook.

Justin Bobby already owns three chains of salons in New York, Manhattan Beach and Nicaragua. Merging with a chemist, he also owns his own line of hair care products.  However, in addition to Justin Bobby's achievements, he not only cuts hair by day, he also leads a two man music band at night called Bobby Rock.

The band will playing local shows in New Jersey and they are currently preparing two showcases in the Austin SXSW festival.
