Arizona protesters plan to prevent a bus carrying 40 suspected immigrant children from entering Oracle, Arizona.

Oracle residents are anxious about reports that illegal immigrant children are being placed at the Sycamore Canyon Academy for the past week.

News circulated that Arizonans are planning on mimicking the incident in Murrieta, California where the city mayor, together with local residents, prevented buses containing migrant children to cross illegally into the United States.

Though they emphasized abstinence on taking a stand about the immigration debate, the academy's executive director have confirmed that few unaccompanied youth from Central and South America will be arriving on Tuesday for momentary housing while their immigration cases are being tried.

Simultaneously, an amendment on the immigration law dubbed as the Helping Unaccompanied Minors and Alleviating National Emergency (HUMANE) Act is being pushed into legislature by bipartisan lawmakers Sen. John Cornyn (Tx) and Rep. Henry Cuellar (Tx) aimed at fast-tracking immigration court hearings.

According to Bob Skiba, an Oracle resident leading the protest, 50 to 500 protesters are expected to join the demonstration on Tuesday morning citing that any terrorist will be able to get into the country because of the lax security along the border.

However, children from across the border will also be welcomed by friendly faces of immigrant-rights groups who will organize a counter-protest.

"They are using fear and hatred in hopes of generating demonstrations similar to recent events in Murrieta, California," said Somos America, a Latino rights group. The group stated that it wanted to provide a peaceful alternative to the fear-based panic caused by "the recklessness of tea party agitators."
