No announcement was made by Ubisoft about their "Watch Dogs 2" sequel release date.

Jonathan Morin, Creative Director of Watch Dog, said the game can improve a lot even with the huge success of its first release last year,

"I don't think Watch Dogs is perfect in any way and there's a lot of room for improvement", he admitted to GospelHerald .

Morin believes the new title lacked several aspects that fans noticed from the first game and explained that bringing a sequel is crucial and caries with it a lot of pressure.

Speculation and rumors said Watch Dogs 2 will most likely be launched by July 2016.

Watch Dogs is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

It was released worldwide in May 2014 and posted record-breaking sales with over eight million sold in its first day of release. The game's debut was a success with the game receiving positive reviews from different gaming sites.

Since there will be no announcement for Watch Dogs 2 at GDC 2015, Ubisoft announced its collaboration with Amblyotech Inc. for a new game called, "Dig Rush."

The game is being developed and designed to treat "Amblyopia," also known as the "Lazy Eye," which is caused by losing vision in one eye. Amblyopia may cause blindness when left untreated. Gamers will be using stereoscopic glasses to play this game.

Ubiblog reported that Mathieu Ferland, Senior Producer of Ubisoft said the development of 'Dig Rush' was "a great opportunity for us to contribute our knowledge and skills in videogame development to help materialize a breakthrough novel medical treatment."

Once approved, "Dig Rush" will be available worldwide.
