Capcom and Ninja Theory launched the new "DMC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition" a few days ago.

Following its release, Eurogamer noticed the sexually suggestive dialogue between the main antagonist, Mundus, and his demon mistress, Lilith, has been omitted.

According to Gamespot, Mundu's lines were left as they were but Lilith's lines were shortened. A video posted by Eurogamer on its YouTube account contains a graphic comparison between Xbox 360 and Xbox One plus the extracted lines of Lilith.

Eurogamer also reported Ninja Theory's Chief Creative Director Tameem Antoniades admitted they decided to cut the scene for the new edition of the game.

"It wasn't a case of censorship as there are far more suggestive scenes in the game. We felt that scene in particular drags on a little bit for the opening sequence and frankly, we didn't like the line," he explained.

The 2013 edition of "Devil May Cry" and DMC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition are both rated M for Mature due to its sexual content, gore, violence, nudity, strong language and drug reference.

Devil May Cry is an action-adventure video game from CapCom originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2001.

It was supposed to complement "Resident Evil" but instead, CapCom decided to make its own storyline. The game received praises and positive reviews internationally for its exceptional gameplay development, visual effects, controls, and grotesque ambience.

Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition will be accessible for Playstation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One and is rumored to be coming out this June.
