Australian Blogger and Apple Watch Consultant, Belle Gibson Accused of Faking Brain Cancer and Pocketing Donations

26-year old blogger Belle Gibson is admired by many and has even gained more fans when she was able to stay strong and launch a successful cookbook and health app after being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.
The single mom from Melbourne Australia not only runs a popular website, but has also served as a consultant for the designers of the new Apple watch, as her health app is considered to be one of the main features on the wearable device.

However, she should be concerned about the possible unraveling of the deal, along with the downfall of her entire empire, as sources claim that she faked having brain cancer and donating to charities.
Belle's rise to fame happened six years ago, when she announced on her Instagram page that she had been diagnosed with an extremely fatal disease-terminal brain cancer. She revealed to her followers that she has been undergoing traditional medical treatments like chemotherapy, but because she feels like the treatments are taking too much of a toll on her body, she shared her plan to take a more holistic approach to help her fight the disease.
Her announcement about eating healing foods, as well as using non-traditional treatments seemed to have worked extremely well in her favor-she even assured fans that she will donate 25 percent of her income to various charitable organizations.
However, several news reports, as well as a friend of the blogger are claiming that Belle never actually had cancer and that she never gave a single cent to charity.
She earlier admitted that she lied about giving US$227,000 to charity and blamed it on the sales of her health app. She explained that she wasn't able to give to charity because her revenue wasn't as high as she was expecting.
Aside from misleading her fans and customers, Belle is also accused of organizing fundraising campaigns and then helping herself to all of the donations.
According to a report by Sydney Morning Herald, Belle had organized "two campaigns purporting to raise money for five charities," but clarified that Fairfax media has confirmed that none of the five charities received a donation.
But the donation is not the only shocking allegation that involves Belle. As if lying about having brain cancer and donating to charities is not enough, she also lied about having cancer in her uterus, liver, spleen and blood, which she announced in an Instagram that has already been deleted.
Belle has been keeping a tight lip about the accusations against her, but she has made her Instagram profile private and is reportedly on the run from authorities.
