People can't help but compare the Samsung Galaxy S5 to the Galaxy S6.

Samsung Galaxy S5 received negative reviews because of its plastic rear-cover to "nothing-knew" upgrades. The device was expected to have exceptional features compared to its predecessors.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S6 is made of metal and Corning Gorilla Glass 4. When natural lights strike the device, it creates a colorful visual texture, which is kind of cool. Samsung Galaxy S6 will be running Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

Display: Samsung Galaxy S5 has a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED screen, displaying 1920 x 1080 pixels and 432 pixels per inch. Samsung Galaxy S6 has a 5.1 inch QHD Super Amoled panel with 2560 x 1440 pixels at 577 ppi.

Processor and Hardware: Galaxy S5 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset while the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will be using EXYNOS 7420 -- a 14nm chipset with four Cortex-A53 and four Cortex-A57 cores.

Galaxy S5 is available with 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage and has a MicroSD memory card slot expandable up to 128 GB. It also has the usual connectivity such as Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi, LTE and NFC.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S6 has no slot for a memory card and the battery isn't removable, which is the downside. Its quick-charge feature is said to be impressive. It also has an LDDR4 memory system that will provide higher performance and increased memory speed.

Overall: Samsung Galaxy S6 and its sibling, the Galaxy S6 Edge, have better features with fewer pre-installed apps, better design, processor and display.

Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will be available this April 10.
