Azealia Banks Hates America and 'Fat, White Americans'

In an interview for Playboy magazine, Azealia Banks did not hold back in expressing her intense hatred for the country she was born and raised in.

The 23-year old rapper, who was born and raised in New York said, "I have everything about this country."

She didn't stop there. The opinionated young woman said, "I hate fat, white Americans. All the people who are crunched into the middle of America, the real fat and meat of America, are these racist, conservative white people who live on their farms."

She went on to give another example, referring to the young teenagers who work at Kmart and those who have racist grandmothers, saying "that's really America."

This is not the first time that Banks pointed out something that she did not like. Her Twitter account is actually full of bizarre rants that attack anything and everything including 24-year old rapper Iggy Azalea, gay men and the children of former slave owners.

In the interview, she stood up for her opinions and defended herself. She explained that things always seem to be about race. When she expresses her views, she's labeled as an "angry" person, but when Lorde [the white New Zealand singer] opens her mouth and "talk sh** about all these other b*****s, nobody's saying that she's angry.

Continuing on with the rant, she complained about how she gets pushed into a corner, when she has something to stay, saying that "M*****f******" owe her reparations.

She explained that the effects of "Jim Crow," which personified the system of government-sanctioned racial segregation and oppression in the United States, still remain.

Though born and raised in America, she refuses to own speaking English as she described it as a language that was forced upon her by her ancestors. She asserted her right to do whatever she wants with the language and use slang due to her not wanting the language in the first place.

The outspoken rapper also referred to her fans as "my little white fans," when she shared how they questioned her belief that children of former slaves should be monetarily compensated.

It's no secret that Azealia went through a really tough childhood. Her father died when she was just 2 years old and she lived with her abusive mother. At the young age of 14, she left home to go live with her sister.

Around that time, Azealia attended high school at LaGuardia and started appearing in a number of musicals. She once had a dream of being an actress, but when that didn't happen, she focused writing her own hip-hop and rap songs.

And while she wasn't able to graduate high school, she currently holds very strong opinions about what children really learn in school. She described the history books as the "worst" especially if you are not a white American. She explained that black children should have a different curriculum, which explains the culture they were "pulled away from."

With a strong demeanor, Azealia said, "[Black people] deserve way more f*****g credit and respect."
