Scott Disick is said to be "doing great" after being rushed to the Southhampton Hospital following a night of excessive drinking at 1Oak nightclub in the Hamptons. Although he first claimed that he felt his drink had been spiked, he now admits that he had suffered from alcohol poisoning.

The said incident occurred on June 22 during his birthday celebration. According to the gossip website TMZ, Scott was "binge drinking," consistently swapping from beer to hard liquor. This came a day after longtime partner Kourtney Kardashian threw him out of the house for his constant partying.

While Disick publicly celebrated his birthday in the nightclub, Kourtney and their children attended North West's first birthday in Calabasas, California. North West is the daughter of Kourtney's sister Kim and rapper Kanye West.

Notorious for his heavy partying and penchant for alcohol, Disick has had an ongoing battle with sobriety. A number of his antics that were spurred on by alcohol were aired on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" as well as its spinoffs. On the spinoff, "Khloe and Kourtney Take Miami", in a drunken rage, Disick had injured himself when he punched a mirror.

This year has been particularly difficult for him to stay away from the bottle. Both Disick's parents, mother Bonnie and father Jeffrey, had passed away earlier this year.

A source stated, "He's had an unimaginable year losing his parents. There have been highs and lows, and he's just doing his best trying to work through everything. He's really making progress."

Since the incident, sources claim that Scott has not had a drop of alcohol. He has also reached out to Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr., officiator at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding, for counseling.

Scott Disick is father to Kourtney's two children, Mason, 4½, and Penelope, 2. Kourtney is currently carrying their third child.
