The anti-police sentiment has not yet died down in Ferguson and Wisconsin, and another incident of apparent police brutality took place at the University of Virginia (UVA). The victim was Martese Johnson who was arrested on Wednesday morning.

Huffington Post reports that based on a statement from the student group Concerned Black Students, Johnson was "flung to the ground" at 12:45 a.m. by agents of Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. He was bloodied and required 10 stitches on the head.

The severity of the injury prompted Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe to order state police to investigate the incident upon the request of Teresa Sullivan, president of the university, where Johnson is a junior student and leadership development chair of the UVA Black Student Alliance.

A photo of Johnson being arrested is circulating online. It showed the black student's bruised and bloodied face while lying on the sidewalk with one of the cops restraining him. Previously, the agents pinned Johnson to the pavement with their knees on his back.

In the video of the arrest, Johnson is heard shouting, "I go to UVA. You fuckin' rabbits ... How did this happen?" It resulted in Johnson being charged with public swearing, intoxication and obstructing justice.

According to the cops, they approached Johnson after he was not allowed to enter a licensed establishment. The agent decided to further detain him based on their observations and for further questioning.

A huge crowd gathered around Johnson and the cops, but the Charlottesville police dispersed them with no problem.

The lawyer of Johnson denied the agents' claim that he had a fake ID. Johnson claimed that the agents struck his head on the pavement, which caused him to bleed, before they handcuffed the black student.

Johnson recently reacted to the Oklahoma University racist video. He wrote in his Facebook page, "This is why things like Black Greek organizations, Black mentorship programs, and Black professional networks still need to exist.
