Canadian pop star Justin Bieber gets hit with another lawsuit from his egged neighbor -- this time for assault and infliction of emotional distress.

In the lawsuit, neighbor Jeff Schwartz, whose house was egged by Bieber in January last year, seeks to claim more than US$25,000 in damages for assault and battery, and infliction of emotional distress.

Schwartz claimed the pop star's bodyguards committed anti-Semitic acts calling him a 'little jew boy'.  This he said had caused him and his wife, Suzanne, a great deal of distress.

That incident started when Bieber was seen speeding around the neighborhood in his Ferrari during Memorial Day weekend of 2013.  Schwartz then approached the singer and asked him to stop, saying the lives of people were put at risk.  The pop star's bodyguards then went up to him and called him "little jew boy".  Schwartz said the bodyguards went on to ask, "What are you going to do about it, Jew boy?".

Schwartz also claimed Bieber threw obscene words at his wife, and their young daughter.

In his complaint, Schwartz further accused Bieber of scandalizing the celebrity enclave of Calabasas neighborhood with loud parties, and drag races.  At one point, Schwartz said Bieber spat on him.

Schwartz said these events all happened months before the controversial incident when Bieber pelted his house with eggs.

Bieber had pleaded guilty to the vandalism charges brought by the egging and had paid the Schwartz US$80,000 for repairs to the house.

Justin left Calabasas and moved to a new home where actress Emmy Rossum is now his new neighbor.

But Rossum doesn't seem to enjoy having Bieber living next door.

"I went over to kind of offer him like a neighborly hello, and I'm not gonna do that again because he has like a ton of body guards there, and they're really scary." Rossum said.
