Universal Studios Hollywood Introduces ‘Fast and Furious’ Ride

In light of the release of "Furious7," Universal Studios Hollywood is also gearing up to open its first ever "Fast and Furious" ride on June 25.

According to the LATimes, the ride's supercharged characteristic will surely entertain the crowd, and with a 65,000 square foot structure, the massive installation boasts a 360 degree screen, 3D images on a 400 - foot- long screen. The said opening will commemorate the opening of "Furious7" which will be released two months before the opening of "Fast and Furious" Universal Studios.

NBC first introduced the rides by featuring a 90-second video in their "Fast Five" segment. The ride is also an inclusion on the projected upgrade of Universal Studios amounting to US$1.6 billion. The 25 year old upgrade plane recently introduced "Despicable Me," "Minion Mayhem" and the following year's most anticipated theme of "Wizarding World of Harry Potter." Michelle Rodriguez said, "They're going to have the heat of fire flying at you. It's really a sensory driven experience."

The Los Angeles-based theme park hit the milestone amidst the popularity of the franchise "Fast and Furious." According to Yahoo, one of the reasons why it was built is for the people to have an experience zooming through the set of "Fast and the Furious."

According to UPI, the theme park described the new endeavor as "technologically advanced, and an epic ride that reunites the stars of "Fast and Furious." Tyrese Gibson was just as excited citing "Universal Studios as the building blocks for putting visitors in the driver's seat and have real experience of the movie." The cutting edge supercharged ride will be one of the most anticipated rides in Universal Studios Hollywood. Featured on Collider.com, the "Fast and Furious SUPERCHARGED" preview promises a ride full of excitement and adrenalin rush.
