Machine Zone, a startup game developer, is currently negotiating with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. about raising its appraisal worth more than US$3 billion.

The game was ranked third by Apple, Inc. on the list of top grossing game apps behind “Clash of Clans” by SupercellOy and “Candy Crush Saga” by King Digital Entertainment PLC.

“This is what my goal is, to network the entire world together into one real-time environment,” said Gabriel Leydon, one of Machine Zone's co-founders who led the shift to creating strategic games for mobiles in 2012.

One of the key features of the game is the built-in language translator powered by Google and Microsoft Corporation. Also, the game utilizes machine learning to add to its in-game dictionary terms.

This attribute helped millions of players all over the world collaborate with or fight each other inside the virtual war world.

As reported by Dow Jones VentureSource, the California-based company formerly raised about US$13 million from investors such as Anthos Capital and Baseline Ventures, to name a few.

With a start-up company being valued so high, investors are predicting that Machine Zone will be able to produce more profitable apps.

The company started out as a dating app back in 2008.
