Latest ‘Arma 3’ Updates Introduce Additional Weapon and Major Changes

The Arma 3 Marksmen DLC is due to be released on April 18.  Its retail price is $15.99 in the United States while 10.99 British Pounds or 12.99 Euros in the U.K.  It will be made available on Store.bistudio.com and Steam.

The new DLC will supply an additional seven weapons and two scopes, other special equipment such as ghillie suits and remote designators. In addition, Marksmen showcase scenario and firing drills will also be included. The weapons will include five long-range rifles while the rest are machine guns.

Players that already own an Arma 3 game will also receive major platform updates from the new DLC.

These updates include the concept of "weapon resting" where your accuracy with the weapon increases if it's placed on an even surface. The DLC will provide the bipods to help you achieve weapon stability. Recoil and AI suppression have been improved to help players enjoy a "more tactical, intuitive and rich experience".

Other freebies include grenadier vests, nine more face paints. a virtual garage as well as improved in-game sounds.

The Marksmen DLC includes a multiplayer session entitled End Game. Teams are invited to search and pick up a number of handy diagrams.

Aside from the multiplayer scenario, a showcase scenario entitled "Firing From Vehicles" will be introduced.  Details about this upcoming scenario are sketchy, however.

For those that have yet to buy an Arma 3 DLC pack, the developer is offering a DLC bundle discount.  For $24.99 (16.99 GBP / 19.99 Euros), players can get their hands on the Arma 3 Karts, Helicopters and the new Marksmen DLC.
