Totem Arts recently released the fourth beta version of the game. The new beta features an additional three levels, in-game jukebox, vehicle drops and vehicle kill messages. A new weapon, smoke grenades, have been added in the beta release, as well.

The developers have also released mod tools that will enable interested modders and designers to create new characters, vehicles and their skins, as well as customized levels and other desired modifications for the game.

Totem Arts assured SDK users they will give their support and assistance to them. Developers hope Renegade X fans will be able to form a self-sustaining community that will create contents for the game.

Developers have launched a video trailer to show the capabilities of the latest mod tool. The video also includes a preview of the fourth beta version, which won't disappoint hardcore C&C fans.

Based on the "Renegade X" website, the three new levels are called Under, Canyon and Complex. The latest beta version has been optimized to minimize crashing and improved performance.

A system has been put into place that will kick out idle players from the game after they receive a number of warnings.

Renegade X players must have the minimum PC setting to play the game.

First, the PC must at least have the Windows XP SP 2 or Windows Vista although a higher version of the Windows OS is recommended.  RAM should be 2 GB or more.

The minimum video card should at least be SM3-compatible. The game will require a minimum hard disk space of 4 GB but it's better to have additional HDD space for a great gaming experience.
