Anna Kendrick's Witty Tweets Land Her a Book Deal

Is there anything that the lovable Anna Kendrick cannot do?

Following in the footsteps of other funny celebs like Mindy Kaling, Lena Dunham and Amy Poehler, Anna is about to write a memoir. The Into the Woods and Pitch Perfect 2 star's book is reportedly going to be a book of biographical, humorous essays, which is scheduled to be published next year by Simon & Schuster's Touchstone.

The Academy Award-nominated actress has been graded an A+ in Twitter for her sarcasm, wit and funny comments on the social networking service. And in an official statement she just recently issued, she shared that she's excited to see if she can extend her 140-character tweets into lengthy, book chapters.

In the same statement, she expressed her excitement over her first book but made sure that people with high expectations understand that she's using this opportunity to unpretentiously showcase her "ineptitude, pettiness and the frequency with which I embarrass myself," Anna said.

She continued to gush about how good of an idea it is that she's writing a book and said in true Anna form, that while most of her female inspirations who became authors are "accomplished comedy writers and well-educated," she is simply extremely funny on Twitter, according to her mom and the Internet news media company, BuzzFeed.

Though there are still no news about when her book is going to be released, it is expected to hit the shelves in the fall of 2016.

So, seriously, is there anything she cannot do?

Just this week, Anna proved once again that she's the ultimate star by battling it out with actor John Krasinski on Spike's new musical comedy show, Lip Sync Battle. She first lip-synced, complete with choreography, to One Direction's hit track "Steal Your Girl," in which she jokingly revealed her intentions of stealing John's wife, Emily Blunt.

She showcased her impressive dance moves during her second performance, while lip-syncing to Jennifer Lopez's catchy song, "Booty." And as if her performances weren't enough, she surprised everyone, even the show's host LL cool J, by bringing J.Lo on stage!
