Robin Williams’ Tragic Death: Struggling with “Serious Money Troubles” Before Suicide?

Robin Williams' final drama film "Boulevard" has been given a release date and is scheduled to hit the theaters this summer.

Starz Digital's head of acquisitions, Kevin Kasha talked about the film and described it as surprising, life-affirming and complex. He also praised Robin's last performance and said that he was "absolutely remarkable."

The drama already had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival held last year and also features Bob Odenkirk and Kathy Baker.

One of the movie's producers, Monica Aguirre Diez Barroso, expressed her excitement about teaming up with Starz Digital to give the world the opportunity to watch the movie, she described as "beautiful."

"Dito was able to capture Robin Williams at his best," she added.

Meanwhile, in a documentary called "The Last Hours of Robin," it was revealed that the award-winning actor had undiagnosed dementia. The actor, best known for his roles in Dead Poets Society and Good Will Hunting, committed suicide at his home in Tiburon, California.

Before his death, Robin was thought to be successfully battling alcohol and drugs, but it was later reported that his suicide was due to depression, combined with the news that he has Parkinson's disease.

However, Dr. Richard Shepherd also revealed that he had the early stages of another serious condition, dementia, which is described as the chronic disorder of the mental processes of the brain. Dr. Shepherd reviewed the autopsy results of one of the world's most favorite actors to find out what actually triggered his suicide.

Robin Williams is survived by his wife Susan Schneider and his children Zak, Zelda and Cody.

Boulevard will hit theaters on July 17.
