Duff Watson, a father from Minneapolis, shared that he and his two daughters were kicked off of their Southwest Airlines flight after he tweeted about a disrespectful agent at the gate.

The family was supposed to be flying from Denver to Minneapolis last Sunday.

Watson narrated that the incident with the "rude" agent happened while he and his daughters, aged 9 and 6, were trying to board the plane through a priority line.

He shared with ABC News on Wednesday that he has been travelling with the airline for years and being an A-list member, he could board the plane early.

The gate agent, upon seeing his children, said that he wasn't allowed to board with the girls. Watson then asked if they had a new boarding policy, which the agent didn't have an answer to. She instead told Watson that her mind could not be changed.

"We waited, which was fine. I thought she was very rude and wanted to complain to customer service," Watson stated.

After he took down her last name, he took to Twitter to complain.

He posted, "@SouthwestAir and then I get to the gate!!! C39!!! Rudest staff? Kimberly S."

Shortly after the tweet, an announcement was made asking Watson to disembark from the plane. The same agent threatened Watson, saying that if he refused to delete the tweet, she was going to call the police on him.

Watson shared that the agent said he was a safety threat. "I was shocked. There was no use of profanity, there were no threats made. How was I a safety threat?" he added.

Although he hesitated at first, he was forced to delete the tweet and was allowed to re-board the plane.

Southwest Airlines sent Watson an email, apologizing for what had happened. They did not disclose of any disciplinary actions on the agent due to company confidentiality.

The airline gave Watson and his daughters $50 vouchers each, but Watson shared, "I'm not going to fly them again."
