The former British girl pop group, the Spice Girls minus Scary Spice, also known as Melanie Brown -- Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, and Victoria Beckham got together for David Beckham's 40th birthday party on Saturday night.

David Beckham's fashion-designer wife Victoria, 41, organized the overnight, huge birthday party held at the luxury Amanjena hotel in Marrakesh, Morocco.  The celebration had an impressive guest list that included actresses, Liv Tyler, Eva Longoria, chef Gordon Ramsay, magician David Blaine, and director Guy Ritchi.

Other guests in David Beckham's birthday bash were Claudia Winkleman, football agent Dave Gardner along with other friends and his family.

The party, which Victoria organized, was done in Arabian style complete with belly dancers and snake charmers.  The unlimited all-night booze and fun had a price tag of nearly half a million U.S. dollars.

According to a source, the party was considered the party of all parties and that everyone really enjoyed the drinks especially David Beckham's concoction of whisky cocktails.  Adding to the excitement, the Spice Girls being around really made it more exciting.

It was the dance floor that saw a lot of action with David Beckham leading the pack as the belly dancers led the guests to the floor. The candlelit party ended with a number of guests staying up to watch the Mayweather/Pacquiao's "Fight of the Century."

The Beckhams' friend Denise Vasi posted picture on Instgram showing her and Victoria at 6:00 am, outdoors watching the," Fight of the Century," beneath "the Moroccan stars." She described the event, as "incredible."

The following morning, David Beckham, who has joined Instagram for the first time on his birthday, shared a photo of him and his mom, dad, and sister Joanne. His caption said that he is grateful for  the support his family has always given him and he wouldn't  have made it without them.

David Beckham is an English former professional footballer.  According to wikipedia, before the footballer's retirement on May 2013, he became the first English player to win league titles in four countries, Spain, England,  France, and the United States in the span of his 20-year career.
