The always grumpy Noel Gallagher has given some kind words of advice to former One Direction member, Zayn Malik.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the front man of High Flying Birds weighed in on Zayn's unexpected decision to quit the chart-topping band last month and frankly suggested that Zayn's best bet, now that he has left one of the world's most successful bands is to hire a good accountant, "because life is very f*****g long."

Asked about what he thought about Zayn parting ways with the band, the former leading man of rock band Oasis said, "It's a strange thing for that lad to have done that at that age."

He then continued to mock Zayn's desire to become a normal 22-year old and asked the interviewer if he had encountered any normal 22-year olds, before saying, "They're f*****g shit for brains." He then said that he "laughed out loud" when he read that Zayn simply wanted to be a normal 22-year old.

"Hang on a minute, you can be f*****g anything that moves, getting paid f*****g half a million dollars a week, you f*****g idiot," he said and continued to warn Zayn that though he might want to be a normal 22-year old now, for sure he wouldn't want to be a normal 25-year old.

Zayn Malik left fans heartbroken when he surprisingly decided to leave the world-famous group back in March. Confirming his departure, he even changed his @ZaynMalik1D handle on Twitter to just @ZaynMalik and deleted his short biography completely.

Since leaving One Direction, he has been spotted visiting the studio and collaborating with Naughty Boy, which sparked news that he is embarking on his solo career. Aside from that, there have also been rumors that he might try his hand at acting.
