Adam Levine Sugar-Bombed While Greeting Fans Outside Jimmy Kimmel Studio

It sure is not a good day for Maroon 5's front man Adam Levine. The "Sugar" hit maker was outside the Jimmy Kimmel Studio in Hollywood on Wednesday, mingling with fans and signing autographs when he was attacked with a big bag of white powder, which turned out to be powdered sugar.

Adam was on his way to leave the Jimmy Kimmel studio when he stopped to greet fans and was unfortunately pelted with the sugar. The confectionary attack was captured in numerous photos and videos by fans and spectators which they then uploaded to their respective Instagram accounts.

Adam impressively remained cool during the ruckus at the Jimmy Kimmel Studio and walked away from his attacker, looking unharmed, though he looked obviously upset and pissed off --- not to mention covered in sugar.

It is still uncertain what the sugar pitcher's motivations were for attacking Behati Prinsloo's other half at the Jimmy Kimmel Studio, but he was immediately escorted away by security and arrested by authorities. He is currently held on a bail of US$100,000 and still has not been released.

According to Hollywood police, this is not the first time that Navid Farsi has been apprehended, as there are currently four other victims who are pressing charges against him for battery.

As revealed by the police, the same man attacked Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson with a rock just last week and considering Adam's band's latest hit single is called "Sugar," it seems likely that this attacker loves his puns.

Adam continues to be getting several odd encounters lately, not just at the Jimmy Kimmel Studio. Just last month, the heartthrob was performing at a concert in Anaheim California, when a female fan charged to the stage to hug him.

Adam's sugar encounter at the Jimmy Kimmel Studio was not the only crazy incident to happen to a famous person on Wednesday. Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian was also verbally attacked by anti-fur activists and was even called a murderer at her "Selfish" book signing in Barnes & Noble, New York.
