The Episode VII team has released the concept art of Maz Kanata, Lupita Nyong' O's character in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." The image has made its way online.

IGN reported that Indie Revolver is the source of the concept art of Maz Kanata, the same website who released the first look of "The Force Awakens Chrome Trooper." It is obvious why Abrams chose to use CGI to create Maz for real, said reports. At the same time, the production team is putting all their efforts to put in practical effects such as those inside Kanata's castle.

Maz was a puppet like Yoda in "Empire Strikes Back," but as motion picture technology has changed throughout the years, the production can easily make photo-realistic beings from an actor's state of the art digital effects and physical performance.

IO9 reported that this is the world's first real glance at Kanata but reportedly not her debut, though. Meanwhile, speculations are circulating the web that Rey will be on a journey to search for Luke, after she discovers serious hand holding of the lightsaber.
