Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Leaked Online Shows Sleek Metal Frame; Device Expected To Sport 64-bit Exynos Processor

A new leak has claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will come with 9.7-inch with a "sleek metal frame" according to Techno Buffalo.

Onleaks has posted a photo on Twitter showing the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, which is similar to the tablet models last year. The site added that the rumored Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.4-inch model is expected to be equipped with a new 64-bit Exynos processor and will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

Ecumenical News also reported that the company is developing four variants of the tablet, which include two core variants of the Galaxy Tab S2 with 8 inch screen size and the 9.7-inch screen-sized model. Both models might also come with two additional variants, which are the WiFi plus LTE and WiFi only.

In addition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 might come with a design inspired by the Galaxy S6 and rumored to measure 237.17 x 169.58 x 5.5 mm. The 9.7-inch model might come with a slim body and a metal frame made of high-quality material.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is expected to come with a Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536. According to reports, the device might come with 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal storage with a MicroSD card for additional memory and a 3,850 mAh battery for the 8-inch model while the bigger model might offer a 5,870 mAh battery capacity.

As for the camera, the tablet is rumored to offer 2.1MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear camera.

Furthermore, the South Korean giant tech company has not yet disclosed any plans to announce its new tablets, but according to reports, they might unveil it in June as the Galaxy Tab S models had been released in June last year.

ISome reports says that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will reportedly be unveiled in Q2 or Q3 of this year and will debut in Canada, China, U.S., some EU markets, Hong Kong, Korea, India, and Latin America, though the company has not released any official confirmation yet.
