Daniel Craig will be playing a Storm Trooper in the upcoming "Star Wars" movie "The Force Awakens". Although this news was not reported in any tabloid of celebrity website but was accidentally revealed at the hands of Simon Pegg, who slipped out this little crucial detail in a recent interview, without any intentions.

In his recent interview with the Sun Newspaper, Pegg accidentally said that he is not the storm trooper in the movie but his bud Craig is, states The Metro News. He immediately realized his blunder and admitted that he said that without realizing its implications. Even though Pegg was also a rumored star in the movie for a long time, Craig's part was revealed last year, but what was not revealed was his role.

Craig was reportedly very keen on working in the new "Star Wars" movie and almost begge Director J J Abrahams for a role in the movie, according to Daily Mail. Abrahams and Craig are known to be very close friends and the director was happy to give him a mysterious cameo role in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." 

The "James Bond" star is the surprise package of the movie but due to Pegg's unintentional leak, the news is now very much out in the open.

The "James Bond" actor just finished shooting for his latest Bond movie "Spectre" and also went through an emergency knew surgery in Manhattan. He is reportedly said to triumph recovery from his arthroscopic surgery, which happened due to an on set injury. He was then spotted in London after two weeks, filming for his next venture.

The movie "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is all set to be released in December.
