Did The Obamas Take A Cameo Role In 'Pitch Perfect 2'?

The "Pitch Perfect 2" which hits theater on May 14 has showed a lot of celebrities, journalists and even the Obamas, but did they play a cameo role in the film?

In the film Fat Amy accidentally exposed her "back and front junk" to Michelle Obama and President Obama is one of the most memorable moment if the film; however, the Bustle reported that the scene showing the couple watching the performance of Barden Bellas at the Kennedy Center for POTUS' birthday is an archival footage.

The site added that archival footage might be from the annual Kennedy Center Honors, which the Obamas attend every year. The publication also stated that the film might be a "hundred times better" if the Obamas really take a cameo role in "Pitch Perfect 2."

Meanwhile, the movie has grossed about $70.3 million on its opening weekend while the first "Pitch Perfect" has earned $115 million, cited Inquisitr.

According to the reports, most of the audience of "Pitch Perfect 2" are girls and women under 25 while the guys spend a lot less ($44 million) to watch the opening of the "Mad Max."

On the premiere of the movie, the site wrote that most of the fans are young women and girls eager to have a glimpse of their favorite character in the film, including Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow and Anna Kendrick.

The "Pitch Perfect 2" is written by Kay Cannon and directed by Elizabeth Banks, who also play the role as the commentator. The movie talks about the story of the acapella ensemble named "The Barden Bellas" who join an "impossible-to-win international competition" as no American group has ever won the title.

Furthermore, one of the lead cast of "Pitch Perfect 2," Brittany Snow will join the upcoming animated pilot "Fancy Bastards" of MTV, where it shows five "awkward outcasts" who will discover that they have the same father who is a prince and they will become a royalty overnight, but not a typical fairy tale, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Aside from Brittany, other cast includes Natasha Leggero, Sharon Osbourne, Nasim Pedrad, Jameeliah Garret, John Roberts and Jessica Lowe.
