Mike ‘The Situation Sorrentino Set to Take Anger Management Classes

Former 'Jersey Shore' star Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino was ordered by a local judge of Middletown Township, New Jersey to take a three-month anger management class, but at the end, the star still needs to show up in front of the same judge for further counseling.

Mike Sorrentino, 31, was apprehended last June 17 of this year after 911 authorities responded to a call that reported a brawl at their family's tanning salon in Middletown Township. The altercation involved his brother Frank and he was charged with simple assault charges to which he posted a US$500 bail.

The 'Jersey Shore' pleaded nothing in the case and while the judge adjourned the matter for three months, Mike Sorrentino has to undergo the counseling program and has to complete it successfully for his charges to be downgraded.

The charges filed against him haven't yet reached a resolution, but Mike Sorrentino agreed to be subjected under the program. No date has been released yet as to his scheduled return to the court.

The star's family attended the hearing including his brother Frank. The star, known for his buff physique and gym tan, told a media outlet that he and his family were 'all good'.

"I'm not perfect and neither is any family in the world... I was a little upset or maybe there was a miscommunication, and the next thing you know, it turns into something else, and then the next thing you know, I'm in jail with a broken hand," Sorrentino additionally said.

The 'Jersey Shore' cast member also claimed that he held his family close to his heart no matter what the situation may be, refuting the saying that goes, 'Don't get into business with your family.' He said that it was the more rewarding thing that one can do with one's family.

The reality show star was set to return to his reality show with his family 'The Sorrentinos' on July 15.
