The new developing operating system is nicknamed as Brillo, which will be used for low-end devices and their internet of things. Just like smart phones, smart house hold technology is also gaining momentum in the current era and this brilliant move which Google is making can prove to be really beneficial for both the consumers and the producers, states The Tech Firstpost.

This initiative by Google will reportedly change the way people live in their homes and instead usher in an era of "smart-homes." The smart-homes will have a number of devices which can be controlled at the touch of a button and also have customization options depending on the user. Thus different family members can set their own options and experience it at the flick of a button.

This technology from Google can be used to make the day to day lives of common people super easy, as they will soon be able to purchase smart home appliances such as light bulbs, fridges and what not. According to Google, each and every house hold appliance can be "smartened" up with the use of the right technology, states The Jagran Post.

In addition to this, the Brillo operating system will be branded under the Nest Labs, a company which is owned under the leadership of Google itself, as per reports by NDTV.

This company excels at making smart smoke alarms, security cameras and thermostats and is currently working on developing this new software. Also, the use of such a powerful OS will give Google a huge chunk on insight about the day to day life of its user, like the time of sleeping, eating, etc. This information can be used to enhance the "smart" experience of the users tenfold.

Google is most likely to introduce the new Brillo OS at the I/O developer's conference in San Francisco on May 28.
