Two of B.B. King's daughters, Karen Williams and Patty King, accused his business manager, LaVerne Toney, and personal assistant, Myron Johnson, of poisoning him. Both have been the most opinionated about the final days of the blues legend, according to Fox 8 Cleveland.

Williams and King made the allegations and showed supporting documents to the Associated Press, as provided by their lawyer, Larissa Drohobyczer, who said she also represented most of the nine children and heirs of B.B. King.

Both daughters alleged that Toney and Johnson hastened his death and even prohibited other family members from seeing the blues legend.

"I believe my father was poisoned and that he was administered foreign substances. I believe my father was murdered," Williams and King stated in the affidavit provided to the Associated Press.

According to Patty, who has been living at King's home at the time of his death, she saw Johnson place two drops of some kind of substance on King's tongue. This allegedly went down on the evenings and continued for several months before he died. She added Toney never specified what he had been giving King.

On Monday, Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg said the embalmed body of the blues legend had been autopsied Sunday. He added that test results could span the length of eight weeks but added that there is no direct evidence that supports the allegations of King's heirs.

"The family is sticking together [...] to oust Ms. Toney based on her illegal conduct, conflicts of interest and self-dealing," said Drohobyczer. She added that Toney rushed King's death by "misconduct or by failing to properly attend to his medical needs."

As of the moment, there is no active homicide investigation on the death of the blues legend, according to Las Vegas police, who refused to offer any further details, reported the Associated Press.

On Monday, homicide Lt. Ray Steiber said police action is dependent upon autopsy results.

As for Toney and Johnson, both declined to comment on the accusations. Instead, Toney said, "They've been making allegations all along. What's new?" He has been under King's employment for 39 years.

Apparently, Toney had power of attorney when it came to King's affairs. He was also named executor of an estate in his will. In court documents filed by lawyers for some of the singer's heirs, the estate could amount to tens of millions of dollars.

Meanwhile, Johnson was present during King's death at his home on May 14. King, 89 at the time of death, was under hospice care. Johnson was by his bedside when he died. There were no family members present during his death, reported The Independent.

The investigation will not delay upcoming memorial services for King this week, according to the coroner, adding that the singer's body was already returned to the mortuary.

On Wednesday, a procession and memorial are planned in Memphis, Tennessee. Viewing will follow on Friday, and on Saturday, King will finally be buried in his hometown in Indianola, Mississippi.
