Good news NBA fans as the release date for the next 2K basketball video game - "NBA 2K16" - has finally been revealed, along with new pre-order features and content.

Visual concept revealed that the launch date for the much-awaited "NBA 2K16" will take place on Sept. 29, 2015, specifically for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and the PC, PlaystationLifestyle reported.

Alfie Brody, NBA 2K Vice President of Marketing, shared some good news about "NBA 2K16" to speed up the hype for both basketball enthusiasts and gamers. Brody stated that the game title will be one of the most unprecedented sports video game in the history as it will be packed with new exciting features. He added that they are only looking for ways to make the game title fan's excited and by offering an early access will surely give enthusiasts the action that they are craving for. 

With the game's launch date announced on September, fans of the gamer series are expecting better gameplay mechanics and visuals from the previous installment.

According to NBA2K16Game.com, the entire body of players were scanned, which is a major step from "NBA 2K15" where only the faces of the players were scanned. The website further adds that all players will have the tag #NBA2K16 attached to them as the game's developers are trying new alterations to further enhanced its attractiveness among its loyal fans.

Good Game Bro was able to post two Twitter photos of "NBA 2K16's" development in support of the claim.

Aside from the release date announcement, there are also some impressive DLCs for "NBA 2K16" which includes 10,000 Virtual Currency, three MyTEAM Emerald Packs, each with a guaranteed Emerald player for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and a MyTEAM Gold Booster Pack with Guaranteed Gold Player and four additional Gold items for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

For fans who want to get the game earlier, they can pre-order the game title at any participating retailers. Once done, they will receive their copy four days before its actual launch date.
