Sony recently announced that the Japanese Xperia Z4 is the new Global Z3+, a month after the Xperia Z4 was made official in Japan. The Z3+ looks almost exactly like the Z4, except for a few differences. There are a few differences in features of the new smart phone, specially on the camera front.

The most important improvement in Z3+, in comparison to Xperia Z4, is the introduction of the Micro USB port, which is also capless (keeping in mind that the device is water proof), as reported by The Android Police.

Sony Xperia Z3+ is equipped with a smaller 2,930 mAh battery (in comparison with the 3100 mAh battery in Z3) and also comes in a slimmer size at only 6.9 mm. Even though the battery power is smaller than its precedossor, it is comparable and it packs a punch. It is also equipped with a Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 processor which will allow the device to charge more quickly and more efficiently, according to Locker Dome.

Xperia Z3+ features a 5.2-inch display screen with a pixel density of 1080p. With a 3 GB RAM and a new ISO12800 sensitivity plus 20.7 megapixel camera at the rear end, it will be stated as one of the most technically advanced smart phones of the present time. This was done by the smartphone manufacturer keeping in mind the selfie lovers and their penchant to shoot a picture at the drop of a hat.

In addition to this, the Z3+ will also sport the Snapdragon 810 processor while its front camera will be a 5MP shooter, instead of the earlier 2.2 mega pixel present in Z3. As far as the storage option is concerned, the Z3+ will be available in either 32 GB or 16 GB variants.

In addition to this, there will also be two other variants of Z3+ - a dual SIM variant of Z3+ equipped with LTE Cat 4 and a single SIM Z3+ with LTE Cat 6 support. Xperia Z3+, which will be available in white, black, copper, and aqua green, will hit the market this summer.
