After playing a central role in helping his team secure the second slot for the 2015 NBA Finals, Golden State Warriors ace Stephen Curry will be facing LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers. Sports analysts predict that the ensuing seven-game series will be rigorous test of performance for both players who are currently in the top of their game.

Experience-wise, James is clearly in lead with 12 seasons under his belt and two championship rings on his fingers.  James has reached the playoffs 10 times and was voted to the All-Star team a total of 11 times.

Curry on the other hand was drafted in 2010 and has only played six NBA seasons. Despite playing with the Warriors since he was drafted, Curry only stepped up on a more central role during the 2012-2013 NBA season where he averaged 22.9 points per game which is his career-high during that time, according to landofbasketball.com.

Curry won this year's regular season MVP, an award won by James a total of four times.

While the two players are a star in their own right, the two has reached that peak in completely different ways. According to Bleacher Report, Curry is known for a certain level of finesse, clever on-court movements and skills. James on the other hand reached the summit of his game through brawn, superior physicality and a level of athleticism that is second to none.

As a team, the Cavs has never won the NBA Champion title while the Warriors is looking to have their second NBA title 40 years after they first won it in 1975.

This is the Cavs' second trip to the NBA Finals. The first one was in 2007 where the team suffer an embarrassing 4-0 sweep from the San Antonio Spurs, according to The Salt Lake Tribune. During the 2007 NBA Finals, James is also the core player for the Cavs.

This year, the Cavs has a handful of players with NBA Finals experience. On the other hand, not a single one in the Warriors' roster has had an NBA Finals game in the past.
