Want to Take The Perfect Selfie? Ask James Franco

James Franco is one talented guy.

Actor, writer, Broadway star and yes, he's also a selfie expert.

Franco appeared on "The Tonight Show" to teach Jimmy Fallon a thing or two about taking the perfect selfie with fans.

The actor, famously (or some may term it, infamously) known for his penchant for posting selfie after selfie on social networking sites, knows how to take the perfect selfie. According to Franco, it all came down to posing with a "stone face".

The two talked about how Franco loves taking selfies with fans and that he tries to smile sometimes. Fallon went on to tease the actor that in each and every picture he took with fans "it's the exact same face - every single time."

Franco said that a lot of people don't take good selfies and proceeded to say that some don't even know how to hold a phone properly while taking a photo.

He talks about "the too close selfie" while taking a selfie with Jimmy Fallon which was, well, just too close. Only half of Franco's face was shot.

Franco also demonstrated how fans love angling the phone high so that they all just end up leaning back, making it harder to take a normal photo.

Franco advised Fallon that the best way to take a selfie is to put on a trucker hat, wayfarer sunglasses and to make the "stone face" because "you can look good in any angle."

The actor had just had a successful stage debut in the Broadway version of "Of Mice and Men", where he acted opposite Chris O'Dowd and Leighton Meester.

"Of Mice and Men", which ended Sunday after 19 weeks, set a new weekly record gross with $1,038,106 in ticket sales. It is the first show featured on Longacre Theatre to have ever surpassed the $1 million mark.
